Sameday Service Standards

Fast collection time We will endeavor to collect within 30-45 minutes within the Ipswich area. To other locations around Suffolk between 60-90 minutes.

Dedicated Service When you book your consignment with GLJ Couriers they will be collected and delivered direct to your customer and not co-loaded with other parcels.

Timed Deliveries We appreciate the importance of items that need to arrive at their destination at a certain time. Within reason and speed restrictions, you can specify timed collections on booking.

Reporting From the moment your package leaves your home/business you can track it's progress via Waze. Our PDA/Mobile phones can capture Signatures, Photos, GPS and Timestamp as proof of delivery for your peace of mind.

Goods In Transit Whilst on board our vehicle, we will secure and protect your package to prevent damage. And in the unlikely event of damage we our covered by Goods In Transit Insurance.

East Coast Removals Ltd offer 3 distinct services: Removals - which can be split into (i) House Removals, Commercial Removals and a nationwide delivery service. (ii) Storage, for both domestic removals and commercial removals. (iii) Clearance - which can be split into House / Garage / Garden Clearance and Commercial Clearance. We pride ourselves on "customer service" and "value for money".

Removals

We provide a professional removals service putting you, the customer first. We can tailor your requirements for "Removals Only", where you do all the packing beforehand, or a "Removals and Packing Service", where we do everything. We keep a spare van free to deal with any breakdowns but also to cater for emergency . removals where a customer has been let down by a removals company. We can also cater for difficult items such as pianos, large tables and the removals of marine aquatic fish tanks including the fish, the water, plants and the tank and accessories including the re-installation at the distant end.

Storage

We have our own storage facility, we can also work with a number of Storage Partners of our or your choice? Our service includes storing any individual household items, to a whole house of furniture, for short term or long term storage. If our storage facility is full then we can recommend competitive storage providers and act as the "transport mechanism". You will be contracted by the storage company for the duration of your storage. We will bill separately for the removals of the items.

Clearance

We specialise in clearing residential houses, lofts, garages, cellars, sheds or anything concerned with houses. We can also do house clearances for landlords. We recycle as much as we can, feeding in to charity shops and reclaiming the materials rather than sending them to landfill sites. We use the proceeds for any disposal to reduce the costs of the clearance. For example if the cost of house clearance was £300 and the value of disposal was £200, then we would charge you £100 for disposal. We endeavour to recycle as many items as possible to reduce your costs whilst helping to maintain a greener environment.

Our aim is to provide a quality man with a van service that is efficient and cost effective so that customers use us again and again.

To help with this our van, with a large Luton style body, has a carpeted floor, and we use specialist covers, blankets and straps to protect and secure your items.

Waste Clearance

We are licenced waste carriers that will dispose of unwanted items such as furniture and old appliances. Please note that we do not dispose of garden waste.
